🏆 SC Corinthians Carnival Wrap-Up 🏆

On Sunday, our Development Squads travelled to Bundaberg to compete in the SC Corinthians Carnival, and what a fantastic day it was for BTFC!

🥇 U11 Boys – Champions
After two years of consistently making finals, this talented group finally claimed the championship trophy, defeating SC Corinthians in a thrilling penalty shootout. This team is an absolute pleasure to watch and thoroughly deserved their moment. Congratulations to Tony Young, the players, and all the parents who have supported this journey

🥇 U12 Girls – Champions
Our U12 Girls were crowned champions after an exciting penalty shootout victory over Emerald. Usually competing in the U13 age group, the team had to leave some of their older players behind due to carnival age restrictions, but the younger girls stepped up brilliantly and shone when it mattered most.

⚽ U12 Boys
A marked improvement from their previous carnival, with the team showing great growth, teamwork, and determination throughout the day. It was fantastic to see their development on display.

👏 U9-11 Girls
An incredible effort from our youngest girls, who competed up an age group in the U12 division. They reached the semi-finals before narrowly losing to our eventual champion U12 Girls in a penalty shootout. Their determination, courage, and teamwork were outstanding. What a result for our girls’ development program!

⚽ U10 Boys
The boys continued their strong carnival form, progressing through to the semi-finals with some excellent performances throughout the day. They played with great energy, teamwork, and determination, and were unlucky to go down to the eventual champions, SC Corinthians. Another strong showing from a talented group that continues to develop and improve each time they take the field.

⚽ U9 Boys
The improvement in this team has been remarkable. At their first carnival they finished without a win or a goal. This time around they recorded two wins, a draw, and scored more than 10 goals. They were incredibly unlucky to miss the semi-finals and we can’t wait to see their continued growth and development.

A huge thank you to SC Corinthians for once again hosting a well-run, enjoyable carnival, and thank you to all our coaches, volunteers, and parents for giving up your Sunday to support our players.

💚💛 The Green & Gold Journey 💛💚

When we started our club rebrand, we wanted to create something that reflected who we are and where we come from. With the FIFA World Cup in full swing, we drew inspiration from some of the iconic green and gold Socceroos kits of years gone by — a look that is unmistakably Australian and proudly BTFC.

We’re incredibly proud of how the rebrand has come together and grateful for the support we’ve received along the way. We’re nearly at the finish line, with one final piece to be unveiled this week — our sponsored training jersey!

A huge thank you goes to Rob Lodder and KPI Sports for creativity, attention to detail and design expertise, along with the entire merchandise team who have put in countless hours to bring this vision to life.

We would also like to extend a massive thank you to our club kit sponsors, whose support made this full club rebrand possible. Rebranding every team across the club is a significant undertaking, and without their backing, this vision simply would not have become a reality. Their investment in our players and our club has helped create an identity that will be worn proudly for years to come.

The inspiration behind it all was simple: we want every one of our 500+ Members from Palm Drive to Rockhampton proudly wearing the green and gold, then heading straight over to watch Mum or Dad play and seeing the same colours being worn miniroo teams to senior teams. FQ are pleased to confirm they will be holding a Junior and Senior Referee course in Gladstone.

Date: Sunday 21st June

Time: 9.00 am finish time is 1.00 pm

Note: Minimum age criteria is 13 years

This guide will take you through everything you need to do to become a Referee

STEP 1: Get Registered
👉 Register on PlayFootball as a QLD Learner Referee: https://rego.prd.letsplayfootball.au/participant/product-details/66196398

Please Note:
❗ When completing your registration, please take care with the Working with Children section as your application needs to be confirmed by Member Protection Officer at Football Australia.
❗ If you are under 18, please apply for the Exemption under AGE / OTHER and state reason : “I am under 18 and do not require a Blue Card.”

❗ If you are 18 or over you must supply your Blue Card

* Note if this is not done correctly we cannot approve the Play Football Registration and have to decline it

👉 Register for the free Learner Referee Package.
👉 Wait for the confirmation email.
👉 Once received, email: [email protected] to request your login credentials.

👉 Log in using the credentials that Football Australia emailed to you.

STEP 3: Get Training
👉 On your etrainu homepage go to:
Training Library ➡ Community Referees ➡ View Courses ➡ Laws of the Game ➡ ENROL

✅ Complete all modules and pass the knowledge checks.

STEP 4: Get Your Certificate
👉 On your etrainu homepage go to:
Skills Passport ➡ Laws Of The Game ➡ Actions ➡ Download Certificate

STEP 5: Complete Your Junior / Senior Football Match Official (JFMO or SFMO) Modules
👉 On your etrainu homepage go to:
Training Library ➡ Community Referees ➡ View Courses ➡ Junior Football Match Official Online components ➡ Purchase

💲 Course Cost: $33.00 (payable upon registration)
✅ Complete all modules and pass the knowledge checks.

STEP 6: Get Enrolled
📋 Now you have completed your Online Learning you can enrol to the in-person event.
