Meet Lizzie! Lizzie attends our senior fitness classes at Riverstone community Centre every week. Since she started, over a year ago, Lizzie has made tremendous improvements. At first she used her walker to pull herself up for squats, now she squats with confidence. She has worked so hard and she never misses a session. She recently had a dexa scan, which showed that her bone density has improved since she has started exercising. We are all so proud of her and the progress that she has made. Special thanks goes out to Tina Bindal, her beautiful support worker, who is always by her side, helping her reach her maximum potential. πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Bosu ball push-ups are a variation of the traditional push-ups. They are more challenging because the unstable surface makes it difficult to maintain your balance, therefore, engaging your core muscles more intensely. The unstable surface can also increase the activation of the chest muscles, shoulders, triceps and core, potentially leading to greater strength gains. Try this variation to progressively increase the difficulty of your push-up routine.
