Melbourne Baseball Club Formed in 1888, the Melbourne Baseball Club is the baseball section of the Melbourne Cricket Club and is the oldest continuous baseball club in Australia.

The club plays in Division 1 of the Baseball Victoria Summer League.

Melbourne Baseball Club is proud to welcome Joey White, a talented pitcher from Georgia Southern University, to the squad for the 2026 season!

Joey brings high-level collegiate experience, a competitive edge, and a serious presence on the mound, and he’ll now be doing it in red and blue!

We’re pumped to have him on board and can’t wait to see him in action!

The countdown to the 2026/27 season is officially on, with preseason training kicking off this week!

📅 Tuesday, 25 August
⏰ 6–8pm
📍 Surrey Park

Training is weekly on Tuesdays until Thursday night training starts on the 17th of September.

The training schedule for the women's and juniors programs will be confirmed soon.

⚾ STEP UP TO THE PLATE – VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

MCC Baseball runs on the incredible support of our volunteers, and we’re looking for more members, families, and supporters to join the team!

You don’t need to commit every weekend or spend hours at the club. Just a few hours a month can make a huge difference. Whether you can help on game day, behind the scenes, or share a role with a mate, there’s a spot for everyone.

No experience needed — we’ll show you the ropes! Every hour you give helps keep MCC Baseball on the field and makes our club a great place to be involved.
