Big Thanks to Toni and Rob from the Tigers Bistro at Bowra Sports Hub who have very graciously decided to donate all the lovely food they provided to our ladies last Saturday at our very successful Ladies Day.

Our boys remain undefeated at home this season coming away with a hard fought win 26 - 12 over a energenic Long Flat Dragons outfit. In a bit of a stop start game with no real flow to it Bowravilles tenacious , scrambling try line defence was probably the highlight of their game at one stage turning away the opposition for 5 back to back sets on our own goal line.

For the Tigers Brayden Luffman received the 3pts. Brayden gets through a mountain of work in defence each week and gives great service from dummy half , he has been working hard on adding more attacking flair to his game which started to pay dividends yesterday creating several attacking opportunities. 2pts Brodie Moore , Brodie is really warming into the season and once again yesterday his workload was high and 1pt Leroy Buchanan , Leroy added energy and effort at times when the side looked a bit flat. He has the great knack of knowing when the side needs a tough carry.

Our squad to take on Long Flat Dragons at Bowra this Saturday. Unfortunately this is our 2nd last home game of the season so dont miss the opportunity to get out and support the boys this weekend.

Save the date ladies. Next Saturday 13th of June is our way of saying Thank you for being an important part of our club. Rugby League clubs are not all about what goes on , on the field and this is our way of saying Thank you for allowing your partner, husband , son to be apart of our club. All female supporters are all welcome to join in the festivities.

Our boys suffered their 1st loss of the season vs a strong Beechwood outfit. In what was an extremely physical game a under strength Bowra side gave their all but was well beaten by a strong Beechwood team. Bowra now knows where the bar is set to be a real threat in the Hastings League this season. Bowra gave a wholehearted effort through injuries and adversity and will regroup for their next game at home vs Long Flat in a fortnights time.
