Something special is coming to wrap up a fantastic season of Highlands AFL! 🧡

We have some exciting activities planned for our Auskickers and Superkickers, followed by our End of Season Celebration and Certificate Presentation at 11am.

It’s going to be a great morning as we come together to celebrate our players, volunteers, families and everything we’ve achieved this season. 🙌

💛🤎 HIGHLANDS AFL GALA DAY! 💛🤎

We’re excited to be hosting a big morning of junior footy at Bradman Oval this Sunday! 🏉

We’ll be joined by Figtree Kangaroos and Wollongong Lions for a fantastic morning of footy, with our U9 and U11 players coming together to form two Highlands teams.

🏉 4 teams
🏉 2 grounds
🏉 3 rounds of footy
🏉 45-minute games
🏉 10am, 11am & 12pm

Our Highlands teams will be a mix of U9 and U11 players, giving the kids a great opportunity to play together, challenge themselves and enjoy plenty of footy throughout the morning.

📍 Bradman Oval, Bowral
⏰ Games from 10am–12:45pm

We’re looking forward to welcoming Figtree and Wollongong to our beautiful home ground and showcasing what Highlands AFL is all about - footy, community, friendship and plenty of fun! ❤️

Come down to Bradman Oval, grab a coffee, cheer on the kids and enjoy a morning of junior footy! 🏉🙌

📢 Long Weekend Break 📢

Just a reminder that there will be no Auskick or Superkick this Sunday due to the long weekend.

We hope all our families enjoy a well-earned break and make the most of the extra day off. We'll be back at Bradman Oval the following Sunday and looking forward to seeing all our future footy stars back out on the field!

🏉 AUSKICK & SUPERKICK THIS SUNDAY 🏉

Just a reminder for all our AFL families that Auskick and Superkick will be on again this Sunday at Bradman Oval! 🙌

One of the huge benefits of our new home at Bradman is that the grounds are not subject to council closures like many other local ovals, meaning more consistency for our players and families and more footy for the kids! 💛🖤

We’re loving the enthusiasm around the club and can’t wait to see everyone there for another fun morning of AFL! 🔥

🏉 What a fantastic day of footy for our U9s and U11s today! 👏

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of the way all of the kids played, competed and supported one another throughout the day. 💪

A special mention has to go to our U9s ⭐️ many of these kids had never played a real game of footy before, let alone played together as a team! To see them run out with smiles on their faces, have a crack, back each other up and improve as the game went on was something really special. 🙌

Our U11s were also outstanding, showing great teamwork, effort and sportsmanship 👏🔥

The future of footy in the Highlands is looking very exciting! 🏉🌟 It’s awesome to see so many kids getting involved, having fun and building friendships through the game.

A huge thank you to all of the parents for making this trek down the mountain to give the kids a taste of competitive footy! 🙏

We’re excited to be heading to Croome Road Sports Complex this Sunday to take on Albion Park in a series of friendly junior matches!

This is a fantastic opportunity for our young players to experience competitive football in a fun, supportive and encouraging environment while continuing to build confidence, teamwork and skills.

📍 Croome Road Sports Complex

🔹 UNDER 11s – 9:00am
FULL TACKLE football for confident boys & girls aged 9–12
🕣 Arrive by 8:30am
✅ Mouth guards compulsory
✅ Head gear optional

🔹 UNDER 9s – 10:10am
LIMITED CONTACT football (bear hug tackle) for confident boys & girls aged 7–9
🕤 Arrive by 9:30am
✅ Mouth guards compulsory

📍 AUSKICK AT BRADMAN OVAL
Auskick will still run as normal from 9:00–10:00am at Bradman Oval. Superkick participants not playing in the friendly matches are very welcome to attend.

🚨 PARENTS — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🚨

Our club is built on volunteers, and we’re looking for a few parents to jump in and help support our Auskick program this season.

AFL South Coast is running a FREE online Coaching & Auskick Delivery Session this Wednesday at 5:30pm, and it’s the perfect opportunity to learn how you can get involved.

You do NOT need any coaching experience - just a willingness to help out, encourage the kids and be part of the club community. Even helping in small ways makes a huge difference.

If you’ve ever thought about helping out, now is the perfect time to give it a go!
