Highlander Personal Training is a local fitness studio in the Southern Highlands. We offer simple and effective exercise and nutrition programming based on current research, in a clean, non-intimidating space. Programs are designed around the individual and our training prioritises attention to detail, safety and providing the highest quality experience possible. We take pride in providing our cli

We have a close community of local clients and trainers who are all part of the friendly, welcoming atmosphere we are proud to maintain. Our focus is nutrition and our philosophy is that it should be individual, flexible, and non-restrictive to foster a healthy relationship with food. We teach you how to control your diet to allow you to enjoy your food while achieving your goals. We offer technique based boxing for fitness coaching to locals of any age or fitness level. If you have been prescribed corrective or rehab exercise we liase closely with local Allied Health Professionals to facilitate rehab programming and are happy to be lead by your treating AHP and guide you through your program.

Body Composition Scans at Summit

Now available for members and non-members

What is it?

These machines use electrical pulses sent through the body to measure body composition. They tell you how much muscle vs body fat vs bone/water etc you have.

Why is this important?

Muscle and fat are very different tissues with very different functions. From a health and longevity perspective, it’s important to know more than just what the scales say. A person with more muscle is more metabolically healthy, has less risk of chronic illness and is far more likely to live longer with much better quality of life. Muscle is also heavier than fat for the same cubic space, those who have more muscle may therefore be considered “overweight” on the BMI scale as it only considers total weight. But total weight tells us little about the state of a person’s health.

We’re Hiring: Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Our services are expanding and we’re looking for an AEP who wants to build their caseload, develop strong gym-based coaching skills, and grow into a leadership role.

Role focus:
Musculoskeletal rehabilitation including post-surgical rehabilitation, post-injury rehabilitation, and performance-focused training.

• Part-time role with pathway to full-time
• Hourly pay
• Work in a fully equipped gym environment

Preferred: Strong personal resistance training and cardio experience, plus a willingness to build coaching confidence and deliver high-quality sessions.

Karim continues smash his goals 💪🏻 from winning our 2024 AdCon to finishing the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday. Karim’s main goal last check-in was to prepare to run this half marathon with his siblings in London without stopping. He has been quietly working away at his running program and strength work and finished the race still with energy left in the tank! Already keen to see the results from his next race! 🏃🏼‍♂️
