Its race week in Kona and Australian Professional Triathlete Kylie Simpson is lining up for her first Ironman World Championships.

🎤 "I am excited to race in my first Kona World Championships. Having qualified for the 2021 World Championships and being unable to race due to injury, makes this one even more exciting. I arrived in Kona a week ago and have been able to get some good training in covering most parts of the run and bike course. The weather has not been as hot as I expected, so that is a pleasant surprise. The undulating bike course has been fun and fast on the Cervélo P5, and I am looking forward to race day, with the few aerodynamic additions we have made"

The Soloist is perhaps Cervélo’s most famous bike. In the early 2000s, it was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervélo Test Team.
