Lauren Cheatle Visits Bowral Cricket Club

Bowral Cricket Club was thrilled to welcome club legend and NSW Breakers star Lauren Cheatle to Bradman Oval Wednesday afternoon for a special session with our enthusiastic girls' cricketers.

Despite a chilly spring afternoon, the girls enjoyed a fun and inspiring net session with Lauren. The Sixers' media team was on hand to film an interview with club award winner Eloise Parker and Lauren. Club President Tim Barrett-Lennard then spoke about the philosophy behind the award and how the winner is chosen, before Lauren officially presented Eloise with the inaugural "Lauren Cheatle Award" for Most Promising Junior Girls Cricketer — an award Eloise first won last season.

In a wonderful surprise for the club, Sixers staff and Lauren also presented a $1,000 gift from AAMI to support the club's ongoing efforts in girls' cricket.

Cricket NSW will be running School Holiday Clinics in the Highlands area.
We will be offering 2 options for participants.

The Holiday Bash is Activity‑based program, perfect for new or inexperienced cricketers

Age: boys and girls aged 5-10 years.
Duration: 4-6 hours
Cost: From $49

What's Involved: Kids enjoy fast‑paced, modified cricket with no equipment or prior skills needed. Sessions focus on skill development through active, game‑based play

Sydney Thunder Holiday Clinic

Looking to take your cricket skills to the next level? Join the Sydney Thunder skills development clinics for Junior Cricketers, boys and girls aged 8-14.

Ideal for young players ready to build their skills, with focused coaching and development delivered by quality, experienced coaches.

Age: boys and girls aged 7-14
Cost: From $69

What's Involved: This fully supervised program includes a variety of tailored drills, activities, and games to ensure that each child receives a comprehensive experience, in a positive and engaging environment.

We want to kick it off with a bang and invite all our registered Junior Cricketers for a fun afternoon at Bradman Oval.
