Bowen Touch Association and Whitsundays Touch Association are excited to announce that we will be combining forces for the Junior State Cup (North QLD) trials in 2026.

This collaboration will provide athletes with a stronger pathway, increased competition, and the opportunity to represent Bowen and Whitsundays at a state level.

📍 Trial Venues, Dates & Times

• Saturday 14th February
📍 Whitsundays Touch Association
⏰ 4-6pm

• Saturday 21st February
📍 Bowen Touch Association
⏰ TBC

👥 Age Groups (boys and girls)
• Under 10s
• Under 12s
• Under 14s
• Under 16s
• Under 18s

(Players must be eligible for the 2026 Junior State Cup age divisions)

Players are encouraged to attend both trials where possible; however, attendance at one trial will still be considered.

Further details regarding registration, eligibility, and selection criteria will be released shortly.

Junior Touch is set to kick off in Term 4, but before the kids can hit the fields… we need some legends to step up as coaches & helpers! 🙌
Think of it this way 👉 no coaches = no games… and we know Bowen kids love their touch footy too much to miss out! 💪
You don’t need to be an expert – just bring a positive attitude, a bit of energy, and a love for supporting our juniors. We’ll help with the rest!

🏉 Junior Touch Football - End of Season Wrap-Up 🏉

What an incredible season it’s been! A huge thank you to everyone who made this year such a success. The growth we’ve seen in all the kids has been amazing – their skills, teamwork, and love for the game have truly blossomed. Watching them play with such enthusiasm and determination has been a highlight for us all.

Congratulations to all of our Most Improved & Sportsmanship Award recipients! Your hard work and dedication have set a great example for everyone, and we’re so proud of you.

A massive shoutout to Rachel, Kristy, Abbie, Taragon, and Clea for making this season possible. Your hard work behind the scenes keeps everything running so smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you!

We also want to thank our amazing weekly volunteers: Crystal, Emma, Hugo, Taij, Mackenzie, Jordy, Will, and Charlie. Your time and effort every week make such a difference and ensure the kids have the best experience possible.

We can’t wait to see what next year has in store. Here’s to another successful season in 2025! 🏉
