The messages I’ve received over the last few weeks have honestly blown me away.

The kindness.

The understanding.

The encouragement.

The people who immediately said, “We’ll be there next year.”

And all the incredible women who are still joining us for our mastermind day tomorrow.

Thank you.

I mean that deeply.

Today isn’t the day I thought it would be.

And I’m allowed to feel sad about that while simultaneously feeling incredibly grateful for what I still have in front of me.

Maybe that’s another lesson in itself.

Sometimes leadership isn’t about turning every difficult experience into an immediate positive.

It’s being able to say:

This is hard. This isn’t what I wanted. And I’m still going to be okay.

Something hasn’t felt right for a while.

Nothing was necessarily broken.

I just knew I’d outgrown parts of how I was showing up and what I wanted to be known for.

And I could have kept pushing it because it worked.

But I don’t want to build the next version of my business around something I’ve already outgrown.

So consider this your permission slip:

➡️You’re allowed to pivot before you have the entire next chapter figured out.

You’re allowed to change your mind.

You’re allowed to want different things.

And you’re allowed to trust that feeling that keeps saying…

This isn’t quite me anymore.

Umm August? What happened? So much packed into 4 weeks that felt like a year, and gee I’m glad to be starting fresh for a new month (my birthday month). I love spring, I love September and let’s hope it’s sooo much better than August.

I can’t paint the whole month a disaster- because it wasn’t, but after the devastating news of having to postpone my event, it could be easy to look back and write off the whole month, but I know better.

There were so many great times and looking back it was a huge month!

I hope your month turned out great, but if it didn’t, make sure you look at it all and find the good. It’s there, in the small moments of peace, love, laughter and connection. In the small action steps you took, all the decisions you made and you can choose to look for the good and find it.

Cheers to making next month event better! 🥂🥂

If you make sales mean you’re being pushy, salesy or sleazy- you probably will be.

If you make it mean - it’s part of your service.
You’ll show it the respect it deserves.

Sales needs to be about your customer, not about you.

Care enough to hold space your customer to make the right decision for them and sales will never feel manipulative, salesy or sleazy.

Forget the tactics, show you care ❤️

You are the narrator of your life so make sure you’re telling a good story. I don’t mean to the outer world, I mean to yourself.

I love this trend because everything we do is kinda chic if you choose it to be.

We can paint our thoughts, feelings and actions with a painful colour of disappointment, frustration or despair, or we can paint it with compassion, love and appreciation. You choose.

Everything you GET to do in this life is worth appreciating. Even the hard times, even though it may be difficult to do when you’re in it, when you look back you’ll see how you’ve grown and evolved.
