Going back through the archives and taking a look at some of Queensland White Ball Cricketers who played for Australian in ODI and T20I. We are so lucky to have some amazing players representing both our sunshine state and our country through the eras!

What is your favourite moment from on or off the pitch in white ball cricket?

Today we celebrate the life of Andrew Symonds.

A champion cricketer, a larger-than-life character, and above all, a loyal mate.

The memories, the laughs and the friendships he left behind continue to live on through those lucky enough to have shared them with him.

On what would have been his birthday, we reflect on what we miss most about Roy.

Happy Birthday, mate. Forever missed, never forgotten.

A special afternoon in Cairns yesterday as the Bulls Masters hosted the Remembering Roy Lunch. ❤️

With stories shared by special guests Steve Waugh and Mick Collis, alongside plenty of laughs, memories and reflection throughout the room, it was a fantastic afternoon bringing people together through sport, mateship and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. 🍻

From backyard cricket in Cairns to having fields named in their honour. 💙

This morning at Griffiths Park, Field 1 and Field 2 were officially renamed the Jimmy Maher Oval and Brendan Nash Oval — a fitting tribute to two proud Cairns boys who went on to wear the maroon cap with passion, honour and dedication.

A special moment for Jimmy, Brendan, their families and the Far North Queensland cricket community.
