Eastern Raptors Rugby League Club Eastern Raptors RLC is a rugby league club based in Melbourne's east. Teams from Under 6 to Masters. We welcome players and volunteers of all abilities.

The Eastern Raptors Rugby League Club caters to all junior age groups from Under 6 to Under 18 years of age , as well as male and female Senior and Masters players. All volunteers are registered with NRL Victoria and hold Working With Children Checks. The Eastern Raptors Rugby League Club strives to be a strong, sustainable and community focused club for all members of the eastern suburbs of Melbo

urne, Victoria, to participate, learn and have fun playing rugby league in a positive and safe environment. We are a Gold accredited Good Sports Club. 🏉 No Games This Weekend – Enjoy the Break! 🏉

After a fantastic start to the season, all teams have a well-earned weekend off with no games scheduled across the King's Birthday long weekend.

It's been great to see our players developing their skills, building friendships, supporting their teammates and representing the Raptors with pride every week. Consider this weekend a small reward for all the hard work that's been put in over the opening rounds of the season.

Training is still on as normal, so we encourage everyone to get along, keep improving and stay connected with their teammates.

Enjoy the long weekend, stay safe, and we'll see everyone at training.

Player of the Day Recognition 🦖

A big congratulations to all of our U6–U11 Mixed and U12 Girls Players of the Day this week!

Whether you were recognised for your effort, teamwork, sportsmanship, listening skills, improvement, determination, or simply having a go, you should be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Every week we see our young Raptors learning new skills, supporting their teammates, showing respect to opponents and officials, and growing in confidence both on and off the field. Those are the things that make a great rugby league player.

To all of our Players of the Day – well done! 👏

And to every one of our junior players, remember:
🦖 Keep working hard.
🦖 Keep having fun.
🦖 Keep supporting your teammates.
🦖 Keep being great Raptors.

The wins will come, the skills will improve, but the friendships, memories and enjoyment of the game are what make junior footy so special.

Round 5 Wrap-Up 🦖

Another tough day at the office for our U13 Boys, U15 Boys and Senior Women, but there were plenty of positives to take away from each game. Each team showed determination and resilience, never giving up and working hard right until the final whistle.

Congratulations to our Senior Men on securing their first win of the 2026 season! It was a true team performance, with contributions right across the field. The effort was so evenly shared that there simply wasn’t a standout Player of the Day – everyone played their part in getting the job done.

With no games over the King’s Birthday long weekend, our teams will be putting in the work at training and preparing to hit the ground running when Round 6 kicks off on Saturday, June 13.

Enjoy the break, recover well, and we’ll see everyone back at training this week.

• Senior Women and Senior Men at MacPherson Park Sports Complex

We’re hosting again tonight, with our U12 Girls taking on Casey Warriors Rugby League Club at home. We also welcome the Steelers Rugby League Club Inc and Frankston Raiders RLC U12 Girls, along with the Doveton and Casey U16 Boys.

We kindly remind all visitors to please respect our neighbours by ensuring driveways and fire hydrants are kept clear when parking.
