What a super sunny Winter's day for social bowls today.
We had a great turn up of 30 bowlers.
Our two game champs winning by 19 shots were Kevin and Sally Palmer.
Looking forward to social bowls again on Saturday.

The break in rain allowed Saturday social bowls to go ahead. What a treat to have our champion Dave Gibson join us.
Dave and Patrick Taylor were our 2 game winners for the day winning by 17 shots. Well done.
We will play social again on Wednesday.
Names need to be in by 12 midday for a
12.30 start. Looking forward to seeing you there.

A beautiful day on the green today for social bowls.
Two game winners were Mick Blake and Norm Dawson winning by 18 shots.

Saturday social was a fun day with some close finishes.
There were two 2 game winners both being 22 shots up.
Winning one end extra saw Alan Cobb and Kevin Palmer being the champs for the day.

Worthy winners of our final major bowls event in the 2025/2026 bowls calendar. The President’s Cup was donated and presented by Gillian Dyson, one of our longest serving members, in memory of her late husband, Bruce, a BBC life member.

President's Cup on Saturday 30th May was a great day on the green
We had a very competitive event with three 2 game winner. The team awarded the cup were Wally Tilbury, Ian Scott and Judy Brien with a winning score of 26 shots.
The President’s Cup was donated and presented by Gillian Dyson, one of our longest serving members, in memory of her late husband, Bruce, a BBC life member.
Thankyou to our kitchen team for preparing our delicious scones, jam and cream.

Boronia Social bowls went ahead today despite the cloudy skies and intermittent light rain.
And what an amazing result for our 2 game winners, Lee McLean and Wally Tilbury.
Their winning score was 27 points! Congratulations on a fantastic win.
