Support Boorhaman Golf Club – Community Helping Community
We’ve got our can recycling bin up and running and would love your support!
Last year we raised $780, which was donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal 👏
This year, funds will go back into the reserve – helping improve club facilities and junior equipment for everyone to enjoy.
👉 When you’re at the recycling centre in Wangaratta, just ask them to scan our QR code and the funds will come directly to the golf club.

A working bee will be held this SATURDAY May 30 from 9am to help get everything ready for the Club Open Day the following day. We’d really appreciate as much support as possible.

Please bring along your own equipment such as rakes, leaf blowers, chainsaws, gloves​ etc to help!

​​Wood Auction for Hall Trivia Night Fundraiser!
There is a large pile of wood that needs to be cleared from around the course. If you’re able to help with chainsawing, splitting or stacking, it would be greatly appreciated. The wood will then be auctioned off at the Trivia Night, so if any hall committee members are available to come along, your assistance would also be greatly appreciated.

Lunch will be provided by the club afterwards as a thank you for your help. If you’re able to lend a hand, please come along.

Dinner is definitely on this arvo at 5pm. We might not get on for golf at 3pm as planned unless we get break in weather but the food is definitely on. Nick will be cooking up for us courtesy of the Rural City of Wangaratta. Come down for a chat, refreshments available. Great chance for everyone to catch up

Congratulations to Winston "Chuddy" Chandler, our fantastic volunteer lawn mower extraordinaire and the very deserving recipient of the Local Achiever of the Year award for the Boorhaman area!

Well done, Chuddy — it's thoroughly well-earned. A huge thank you for your tireless and ongoing contributions to both the golf club and the wider Boorhaman community.

Thanks also go to Nathan Bell and the hall committee for organising such a wonderful morning, to Cr Harvey Benton for taking the time to attend, and to everyone who came along — around 60 people made for an excellent turnout!
