The animals are, without a doubt, the true stars of the Boonah Show 🐄🐓🐕🦎

They are at the heart of what makes our Show a real country show, bringing education, competition and hands-on experiences for all ages.

From the busy Poultry Pavilion, to talented working dogs showing off their skills, cuddles at the petting zoo, proud moments in the Pet Parade, and the always-popular reptile show, there is so much to see and learn.

Then there’s the cattle ring, where months of hard work, dedication and care are on full display through judging, parading and competition. For many families, this is what the Show is all about.

A big thank you to Jo Crilley from BlueJay Films for capturing the animals, the action and the spirit of the Boonah Show so beautifully.

The lights. The music. The rush. 🎡✨

For just a couple of days each year, Sideshow Alley transforms the Boonah Show into a place full of energy, excitement and unforgettable memories.

From little ones enjoying their first ride, to teens chasing thrills, and adults reliving the fun of years gone by, there’s something special about the atmosphere under those bright lights.

A huge thank you to Jo Crilley from BlueJay Films for capturing the excitement, colour and thrill of Sideshow Alley so beautifully.

This is the magic of the Boonah Show. Community, fun and moments you remember long after the rides stop spinning.

🐂 How much did Bob weigh?

Our "Guess Bob's Weight" competition had plenty of entries, but only one person guessed correctly!

Bob tipped the scales at 564kg.

Unfortunately, it seems we didn't get a photo of Bob on the day.

🎨🖌️🖼️ Who did you vote for?

During the Boonah Show, members of the public get to vote on their favourite entry in the Fine Arts section.
This year it was extremely close.
The top 3 people's choice paintings for 2026 are Cows by Irene Stumer in 1st place. The Mob by Teleah Bull in 2nd and Good boy in 3rd also by Irene Stumer.
Well done ladies and thank you to everyone that voted.

While the wet conditions meant the Prime Cattle Judging and Auction couldn't take place during this year's Boonah Show, we're pleased it was successfully held yesterday morning.

Congratulations to all exhibitors, buyers and supporters who took part. The Prime Cattle competition is an important part of our show's agricultural tradition, showcasing the hard work, dedication and quality livestock produced by our local community.
