🏏Grand Final Results🏏

Not the result we were after. C Grade bowling first got off to a flying start, having CATS 3/19 early, but their middle order was able to build some solid partnerships. Cecil and Ollie Stanton were able to claim 2 wickets each as the main wicket takers.

CATS score of 179 proved to be too much, the Panthers falling 35 runs short, Duffy (37) and Spark (36) the top scorers. Well done to CATS a great win for them.

Well done to our boys on a fantastic season, we’ll look to go one better next year! We thank all of our supporters, sponsors and community for all their support during the season! We can’t wait for next season, we are counting down the days already!

We’ll see you all at our presentation night on the 2nd of April!

C Grade takes on CATS at the Yinnar Rec Reserve, kicking off at 11:30. Good luck to the C Grade boys, you’ve earnt the right to be here through all your hard work throughout the year, you boys absolutely deserve it! The whole community is behind you!🤝

Congratulations to our winners who featured at the the CLV League Presentation night last night!

🏆TEAM OF THE YEAR🏆

🏏Premier B Grade🏏

🏅Lachlan Smith🏅

Lachy claimed his 2nd Team of the Year in Premier B Grade, this year being his career best. Lachy stood out with the bat making 473 runs with an average of 36.38, having a highest score of 95. Lachy also contributed with the ball claiming 12 wickets, as well as getting the job done in the field taking 7 catches and claiming 2 run outs. Well done Lachy!

🏅Nathan Spark🏅

Nathan claimed his 1st Team of the Year in C Grade. Nathan had an outstanding year with the ball, claiming 22 wickets with an unbelievable average of 6.91. Nathan was also an important figure with the bat, making 210 runs batting in the top order. Claiming 4 catches as well along the way, Nathan is only getting better with age, like a fine wine some would say. Well done Nath!

🏅Cooper Stanton🏅

Cooper had an outstanding year with his U16s GCL team this year, proving to be the premier bowler in his age group claiming 14 wickets in his GCL campaign. With this Cooper took out Cricket Latrobe Valleys U16s player of the year, a well deserved achievement for a superstar player! We can’t wait to see Cooper taking wickets in Panthers colours for years to come, congratulations Cooper!

What a day!!

C Grade win their semi final to get their ticket to the grand final next week! Led by Mitch Berechree who went huge and claimed 6 wickets, finishing with 6/14, his best figures in a huge game. Nathan Spark didn’t go unnoticed either, claiming 3 wickets of his own to help bowl out Traralgon west for 90.

After losing 3 early wickets, the C Grade boys found a way to get the job done, chasing down the runs and booking their ticket to the Grand Final next week!
