Kids club happens every Saturday of the school term, and runs two 2 hour sessions at 9:30am and 1:30pm. A variety of horses are available ranging in height and experience, and helmets are provided. Please contact the office with any enquiries :)
Our Kids Club now offers a curriculum based grading system for all riders, which starts with Level One (Novice), and increases in ability through to experienced riding. This allows us to safely group riders together appropriate to ability, and allows riders and their parents to see their growing achievements and abilities. In order to progress through the levels, riders must demonstrate a standard within three categories; riding, horse handling and horse care. A description of each level is available for viewing at the office, and lists the indicators that our instructors look for when grading the levels. Riders can choose which level they wish to be graded for, but can only be graded one level per term. A general grading day will take place on the last week of every term, and riders need to nominate themselves for grading a week prior to that. If you do not nominate yourself, you will not be graded. Once you have achieved your first grading, you can only nominate for the next consecutive level, e.g. If you achieve level one, you cannot nominate for level three without achieving level two. This allows us to maintain safe standards among the students.
