Wauchope Bonny Hills SLSC began operations in 1958 around at “Little Beach” – Bartletts Beach, just to the south of our current location. The surf season runs from September School holidays through to the end of April School Holidays. During that time, we patrol the beach every Saturday/Sunday & public holiday. Visitors to the beach vary from locals, tourists, elderly, families, community members with disabilities, visitors from a non-English speaking background. Visitors have access to the grounds and reserve area around the surf club, the beach and the water. As well as providing essential lifesaving services for the community, Wauchope-Bonny Hills SLSC also operates a licensed bar on Fridays 5-9pm, with the venue available to hire for functions and parties throughout the year.
