Our season is officially over 🥹

We made it to the semi final at state for our final carnival of the year which was full of emotions.
Sad to not make the final as it’s our last year in u/23s but also very happy with what we have done this year!

Us girls have trained at 5:30am, 6 days a week both inside and out of the boat together. We’ve built such a lovely crew together who all want to be there and do it for eachother. We also rowed the entire season with 5 girls, somehow made it work and wouldn’t want it any other way!
We stepped up and rowed against some of the best open women crews around Australia at Ocean Thunder which was such an incredible experience. We came out of that tougher rowers and it taught us a lot as a crew.
We can’t thank Steve Monaghan our sweep enough for everything he has given up and has done for us girls this year. We are very lucky to have such a great sweep both in and out of the boat. We love you!
Thankyou to everyone else for making it one of our favourite seasons ever!! ❤️🤍💙
