The Bonbeach YCW Footy club had a record 10 teams qualify for finals with 6 teams playing in grand finals today!
What an amazing achievement.
Well done to everyone involved, the coaches, team managers and all the volunteers, and importantly the kids.

🎉 80 YEARS IN THE MAKING — AND WE'RE THROWING A PARTY!
Bonbeach YCW is turning 80, and we're going big.
📅 Sunday 22nd November
📍 Bonbeach YCW
Picture it: an afternoon packed with activities, a special visit from Santa, and a massive celebration of 80 incredible years of footy, cricket and netball. Eight decades of local kids, families, friendships and unforgettable moments—all in one place.
But we need you.
We've pulled together a committee to make this day epic—and we want every code at the table. Footy, cricket, netball—this milestone belongs to all of us.
Got skills in any of these? We'd love to hear from you:

Marketing, practical organising, content/storytelling, sponsorhsip,
Publicity & promotion, Local history buff, admin

Current player, old legend, past committee member, or a keen parent ready to jump in—there's a spot for you.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and we want to make it one for the history books.

We are meeting once a month July, Aug and September, and then step it up a bit to get to the 22nd Nov.

The Bonbeach YCW Sports Club AGM was held on Tuesday 2nd December. Mick Alford remained President, Travis Johnstone is Vice President and Michael Zabac is secretary.

We're in need of a Treasurer. With this role, we don't have a full executive.

We're looking for someone with Accounting, Bookkeeping or management experience who can give an hour or 2 a month.

The Junior Sports Club will be open this Friday night from 6pm to watch the dreamtime game on the big screen.
If your child plays for Bonbeach YCW, or you're a past player or Life Member, you're welcome to enjoy a refreshing Ale.

Times for the 4 Grand Finals at Booring Reserve Devon Medows.

The club will be open from 4.30pm Sunday to celebrate the day and year.
