GOLF RESULTS.

We certainly had a taste of winter on Saturday, so disappointing for

all the events that was on in town, visitors, some arriving in shorts,

were soon going for coats or blankets.

We only had a small field to play a Par for John Cherry Trophy.

Glen Hampshire had a great round winning with + 6 with daylight

second. Wayne Elton was a ball winner on square.

Golden Shot won by Merv Douch.

What a difference a day makes. Sunday was a beautiful autumn day

and there was a much larger field to enjoy the day.

The event was a Stableford for Leon Jones Trophy.

Glen Hampshire continued with the good golf coming in with 40 pts.

Very good weekend for you Glen.

Balls were won by Glen, Daniel Douch 37 pts, Brendan Weston and

Joel Cherry 35 pts.

Golden Shot won by Steve Tatham.

NTP on the 13th is still growing. Nice little nest egg.

GOLF PROGRAMME FOR THE WEEK.

MEMBERS. Saturday 25.4.26. Anzac Day. Stableford. D. Forrester Trophy.

Sunday 26.4.26. 4 BBB Stableford. (Choose Partners) Pinegro Trophies.

We sincerely thank all our sponsors, your generosity was greatly appreciated and enabled us to present great trophies and hopefully that will encourage more players in the future.

The course was in spectacular condition, there were many hours of voluntary work done over the last few months and a huge thank you to the chaps who gave so much of their time to have the course so well prepared. I won’t name them in case someone is forgotten but great job chaps.

Sunday was the 4 BBB Stableford. We had good numbers hitting off but they only managed 9 holes

when the storm hit, they came in looking like drowned rats, players had a drink or two waiting for it to ease but the rain continued. The game was abandoned. A decision will be made during the week

when this will be replayed. They then had a meal. It was bad luck but we did need the rain.
