• Male, female & mixed teams welcome in all divisions

• Seniors: $220

Grit for Girls is Basketball NSW new program designed to support, empower and educate girls in basketball, both on and off the court. Developed by sports psychologist Karen Haddad, former NSW junior, this program has been purposefully written to address real-life gaps in support for girls in basketball.

🎉 Congratulations, Lincoln Witting! 🏀

Following his participation in the CYFAIR Australia program, SBA is incredibly proud to announce that Lincoln Witting has been offered the opportunity to join the basketball program at John Curtis Christian School, Louisiana (USA).

Earlier this year, Lincoln was selected as one of just 10 boys nationwide to represent CYFAIR Australia, a brand-new elite program led by renowned coaches Tim Bush (ex–San Antonio Spurs & Nike Elite Youth) and Damein Banner (Head of Basketball & Culture, West Sydney Wolves). As part of the program, Lincoln travelled to the U.S., competing at a high level and gaining direct exposure to college coaches and scouts.

This offer is a testament to Lincoln’s hard work, talent, and commitment to his development, as well as the powerful pathways created through CYFAIR Australia.

Who Roars? Tigers Roar!

The Shoalhaven Basketball Association has been the home of basketball in the Shoalhaven since 1958. Boasting a proud tradition and loyal supporter base, the Association welcomes players of all ages and abilities.

It’s the perfect sport to stay fit and hang out with friends all year round.

Located in the new Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre we offer two seasons per year. Adults play Tuesday evenings (A & B Grades) and juniors on Thursday afternoon/evening. Players 5+ can join Aussie Hoops at 4pm Thursdays to build the skills they need to enjoy playing basketball.

The Tigers representative teams play in the NSW Waratah League and regional Barrengarry Conference at the junior and senior level.
