Heartbroken today to find our broodmare WP Brandy Schnapps has passed away overnight.
No visible injuries or complications, just an unfortunate incident!
Thankfully her 3.5 months old foal is well handled and eating hard feeds so supplementing her will be fine.
Just very saddened to lose such a sweet and lovely mare.

The highs and lows of breeding 😔
Jazz foaled this evening- a stunning big bay c**t with a white face, belly splash and 3 white stockings.
Unfortunately the foal didn’t make it.
Devestated for our lovely mare and the loss of this baby!

Huge few days on the farm!
We welcomed our first foal for the season!
A huge filly out of Windal Park Brandy (QH x Welsh mix) by our Drum stallion WP Keep the Beat (Gypsy x Clydesdale)
Born early Saturday morning, still has some unfolding of this legs but doing all the right things!
Taking guesses on colour as this is new for us! No name yet!

Edit: Mare’s parents are grey/cremello
Sire’s parents are bay/ black-white pinto

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this!
Last night we said goodbye to our amazing Clydesdale Broodmare Ally!
Mum to our stallion Hercules and Mare Lexi.
The most beautiful soul of a horse, and will be so missed on the farm!
Huge thanks to Ross at Murray Vets, we saw how hard this decision was on you too!
Complications related to a tumour took our girl way too soon but she’s at peace now 💔💔💔💔

Just letting all of our clients know that everyone is fine after that massive storm!
1 fence down between 3 of our own horses and so thankful for no injuries!!
Extra carrots in today’s feed run for sure!!

2 babies branded today!
I was expecting Flynn to be a mummas boy and make a scene but he was perfect and so was Venus! Neither of them moved a muscle! Definately a testament to their temperaments!
A few more days being babies then it’s weaning time!!!!

Our babies are growing up!
- Venus (Filly with the blaze) is our Gypsy/Clydie/WB/TB (25% each)
- Flynn (C**t with the lighter tail) is our Gypsy/Clydie/QH/X (25% each)

Both are the first foals by our F1 Stallion WP Keep the Beat and we are so happy with how they are maturing!

They are ready to be weaned and will be available for sale shortly. Both mares are back in foal and can be purchased in-utero!

Windal Park Keep the Beat strutted his stuff at the recent AHHA show!
He won Champion Part Bred Clydesdale, Champion Part Bred Gypsy Cob and Champion Drum stallion.
We didn’t hang around for the obstacle course because he settled so well between classes and I couldn’t ask much more of him from the morning!
As always, Thankyou to Nikki for making sure I have clean clothes and look presentable and helping Herc to look so amazing with your care and dedicated feed regime!

Time for longreining and saddle work for this boy while our 2 broodmares cook his next 2 foals!!
