A client shared this article on resilience with me today. I totally agree with this idea, too often people can think of resilience as 'toughness' or 'grit', the ability to push on and push through. A useful quality but NOT resilience. Resilience is the ability to rest, recover, rebound and restore optimal Body-mind function. The 3 pillars of training at Free2flow are movement, strength and RESILIENCE. Meaning learning and including intentional resilience practices into your training and lifestyle.
Try really hard, and then stop, recover, and repeat.
