As the dust settles on yet another amazing Internationals Presentation Night, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the night so special ❤️💛💙

A very special acknowledgement to our 2026 Club Person of the Year - Mae Ross 🏆

Mae is one of those people who quietly gets in and gets things done behind the scenes. From countless hours cleaning and preparing for home games, to helping in the canteen and cleaning up at the end of the day….all whilst being a leaguesafe every week also. Mae is always there doing whatever needs to be done. Your contribution doesn’t go unnoticed and this recognition is very well deserved ❤️💛💙

Last night we celebrated our annual International Presentation Night, recognising our Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 teams.

Congratulations to all of our players on a season filled with plenty of highs and lows, but most importantly, fantastic team camaraderie, sportsmanship and plenty of great footy.

We know selecting award recipients is never an easy task for our coaches, with so many deserving players across each team. A huge congratulations to all of our 2026 award winners, a wonderful recognition of your efforts throughout the season. 🏆👏

🏆 Tom Murphy - Junior Volunteer of the Year
Tom is the epitome of what we love about junior footy - a great player, but an even better little human. He’s regularly at our home games from 6am, checking toilets, bringing in bins and looking for anything else he can do to help. Always willing to pitch in and go above and beyond for his club, Tom is an absolute credit to his parents. A very well-deserved award, congratulations Tom!

🏆 Chris Thompson - International Rules Coach of the Year
At the start of the season, we weren’t even sure we’d have an U15 team. Chris stepped up, welcomed and encouraged plenty of players who were new to the game and surrounded himself with a great group of volunteers. They might not have had a lot of wins on the scoreboard, but they built something just as important - a team with great morale, plenty of encouragement and players who genuinely enjoyed turning up and playing together. Hopefully that’s something that continues to grow for years to come. Congratulations Chris!

We’re also incredibly proud of Albert Maher, Leon Ryder & Mason Thompson, who were recognised amongst the Top 5 across the Central Highlands for their respective Player and Referee Player of the Year awards.

While they didn’t take home the win, being recognised at that level is a fantastic achievement. You boys obviously carried yourselves well throughout the season and stood out not only for your playing ability, but for the respect you showed your teammates and officials - something to be very proud of.

Finally, a huge thank you and congratulations to the CH Committee for putting together such a great night in Emerald and giving our junior players, coaches and volunteers the opportunity to be recognised and celebrated.

A huge congratulations to our Crushers players and volunteers recognised as finalists for the 2026 Central Highlands Junior Rugby League Awards! 🏆

We’re also sure there were plenty more Crushers who received nominations or were close behind on points throughout the season, a great reflection of the amazing people we have within our club.

What a season it has been for our 100+ Mini Mods players!

Today was all about celebrating each and every one of you and another fantastic season in Crushers colours.

A huge thank you to all of our parents and families for getting the kids to training and games each week, cheering them on from the sidelines, and giving up your time to coach, manage, volunteer and help with every job in between. Our club simply couldn’t do it without you!

We hope everyone had a fantastic time celebrating today and enjoyed a well-earned end-of-season party! 🎉

🏉 UNITED IN LEAGUE CARNIVAL – YEPPOON! 🏉

Our Under 8s headed off to Yeppoon for the weekend to take part in their first ever footy carnival! 🏉

What a fantastic weekend and such a great experience for our Under 8s! It was awesome to see so many smiles, plenty of fun and, most importantly, the kids enjoying themselves and playing footy with their mates. ❤️💙💛

We are so fortunate to have so many amazing people, not only at our club but right across the Central Highlands junior rugby league community, who go above and beyond for our clubs and players every single week.
