PADI Master Freediver Course for ocean lovers in Hobart with Instructor Trainer & freedive pioneer Marlon Quinn | Fluid Movement Outdoors 🫶

Includes two Eaglehawk Neck boat dives with our partner & Tassie’s highest rated dive centre Go Dive Tasmania 🚤

Your certification goals:
- Dive to 27m (CWTB)
- Hold your breath for 3’30” (STA)
- Swim 70m in Dynamic Apnea (DYNB)

Continue the development of your adventures as a freediver and qualify to become an assistant to Freediving Instructors, the final step before you can also train as a Freediving Instructor.

✅️ A minimum PADI Advanced Freediver (Level 2) or equivalent certification is required to participate in this course.

Two mornings. Four hours on the line. Serious ocean stoke.

Dive in the clear, calm, protected waters of one of Australia's best dive locations - with a focused double line weekend designed to boost your confidence, consistency, and depth.

📅 11th & 12th July

⏰ 10:00 – 12:00pm both days

Two weekends ago the Deep South crew had a stunning Double Line Dive weekend at Fortescue Bay! 😍

The sun came out to play, the seas calmed down and the vis cleared up in perfect timing for us to have a splash! 🥳

Its amazing what the weather can do.. The days leading up to this weekend were less than average, with 200ml + rain in Hobart and grey skies its easy for spirits to be low..
Then suddenly BAM! Old mate sunshine comes out and its as if the poor weather had never come and we felt like we were in a summer paradise. I think this is proof and a friendly reminder to us all to get outside, just get out there because you never know what's right around the corner.. 🌞

The crew dived, hung out on the bottom, practiced equalisation techniques, tried no fins freediving, repeated rescue drills & Ian Riley even got certified as a fully fledged Level 1 Freediver 🥳

We also enjoyed a beach side camp fire without mobiles, instead we filled the silence with conversations about life, love and everything in between! Camp fire before and after a dive might be my new favourite addition to 5mm wetsuit socks!

Thanks so much to everyone who came and made the weekend as special as it was, diving, camping and chilling with you was just what the doctor ordered.

Refine your deep equalisation, freefall and safety skills while learning to dive up to 30m on Tassie’s pristine East Coast 🦭

Based in Hobart & the Tasman Peninsula - August 14-16

Includes a boat dive with Tassie’s Highest rated dive centre Go Dive Tasmania 🚤

Your certification goals:
- Dive comfortably to 24-30m in FIM and CWTB
- Dive 15m in CNF confidently
- Comfortably hold your breath for 2’30”
- Dive 50m in DYNB and 35m in DNF comfortably
- Perform safety & rescue for freedivers from 10-15m depth
- Complete a 10m no mask self‑rescue
- Achieve a minimum 4m freefall

✅️ A minimum PADI Freediver (Level 1) or equivalent certification is required to participate in this course. A crossover evaluation may be required.

Course schedule:

Hobart – Friday 9:00-4:30
Theory & pool session

Tasman Peninsula – Saturday 1:00-4:00
Shore dive

Tasman Peninsula – Sunday 9:00-4:30

BOAT DIVE - SPOTS OPEN!

Since last fortnight was such a huge success on our Eaglehawk Neck Boat Dive, I've decided to run another trip in 3 weeks time! 😍

Right now there's 6 spots open but these will sell out quickly so please get in touch now to secure your spot.

These trips are so much fun and there's lots to see and explore. We had crystal clear blue 20m+ vis and 14-16°C water temp on our last trip.
