Hobart freedivers, are you keen for shore-based ocean training to start again? π
After only a short winter break, I was ready to run our first line session this afternoon, but the forecast threw me.
The good news: ocean training is coming back very soon.
We now have two new 2bfree freediving buoys and a new anchor setup designed to keep our freediving lines straight in tidal water, rather than slowly drifting us toward Bruny! This gives us reliable access to 10β20 m depth for safe, structured training sessions.
Sessions will be 2 hours and based at Nutgrove, with post-dive warm showers available, or weβll choose another nearby shore site when conditions suit.
Whether you are building confidence, working on technique, training for depth, or simply want consistent ocean time with other freedivers, these sessions are for you.
Real progress comes through consistency.
Who is keen to get back on the line this season?
Drop a π and keep an eye on the Deep Dive Day & Ocean Freedive Training WhatsApp group and the DSF website for upcoming session times.
