Kerry Packer thought women wouldn't want to watch a TV show with Rats in the name, but he was eventually won over and the long running TV series Water Rats was born. Executive Producer Hal McElroy explains its beginnings on Evenings.

Australia Day event at Blackheath Tennis Club. Hot Shots program for kids was a great success and the ball machine was a popular attraction. Hopefully some of the kids will want to continue playing.

Hotshots training day run by Tennis NSW at Springwood tennis club. Coach Matt Edwards ran us through the theory and practise of training kids in tennis skills. We all learned a lot to improve our own games!
