Noticed these Containers for Change receptacles have been placed around the town (eg in front of Newsagency). Have contacted Containers for Change regarding these and anyone from a Club or in person can collect these from this bin and cash them in. So on your travels if you see these you are quite welcome to bag up and drop off to the tennis club and become a Blackbutt Bin Chicken or Blackbutt Bottle Bandit.
Heath Sander (Murgon Councillor) initiated it within the SBRC. 🤑🤑

ATTN: Tennis Club Members!!!!
The tickets for the Christmas in July dance have been all temporary booked with people getting tables accommodating 10 to 15. Until tickets are paid for temporary bookings are only that, so please get your tickets from June so you don't miss out.

Support our Club by getting on board.

Also on the day the Tennis Club Members will be called upon to set up tables and put up decorations for the night.

On Saturday, the Blackbutt Tennis Club conducted its Annual General Meeting, and we were pleased to welcome our local Mayor, Kathy Duff, and our local Member, Linda Little.
The newly elected Committee Members are:
President: Auriel Finch (Oggy), Vice President: Julie Taylor-Dixon, Secretary: Jo Cassidy, Treasurer: Jenny Gilliland-Thomas, and Juniors President: Steve Casey.

A heartfelt thank you and tribute are due to our previous President, Roy Dieudonne for his remarkable 6 year leadership in maintaining the club's unity, and to our previous secretary, Noeleen Bird, who dedicated 10 years of service and was a founding committee member responsible for revitalizing and developing the club into its present state.

We wish them both the best in the years to come.

The Windmill Raffle was drawn this morning by our Mayor Kathy Duff at our AGM. The winner was Pat. Congratulations!!! A huge thankyou to Mark Degoumois of Nanango for donating the prize.

The Blackbutt Social Club is holding their Annual Christmas in July dance again. This year a donation will be made to the Blackbutt Tennis Club. Will keep you all posted as the date gets closer. Support our Club by going along and having a fun night out.
