This weekend, Blackburn Newhope FC seniors head to Healesville for a big day of football, but the result on the scoreboard won't be the most important one.

As we recognise Men's Mental Health Round, we're reminding everyone in our football family that real strength isn't just shown on the pitch. It's shown by checking in, listening, and being there for your mates.

Football clubs are built on connection, community and mateship. We at Blackburn are a huge club, who are always stronger together.

Goals flying in from everywhere!

Our Senior Women continue to set the pace in Division One, putting on a five-star performance to cement their place at the top of the table! With FIVE different goal scorers finding the back of the net, it was football as it should be played at. Mirrabooka.

Meanwhile in Division X, our Women’s Reserves dug deep in a heart-racing five goal thriller, edging out Bayswater 3-2 in a huge team performance full of grit, fight and belief 💚🖤

Six points on the road for the black and green 💚🖤

Our Seniors continued their strong run of form with a 3-1 win over St Pauls. Goals to Raph Taylor (2) and Jake Pearce helped lead the way, backed by a rock-solid defensive display and some outstanding saves from Manny Emmanouilidis between the sticks.

The Reserves showed incredible resilience once again, fighting back from 2 goals down to claim a thrilling 3-2 victory. Goals from Pranav Gopisetty and Harry Kukulovski set the stage before Euan Ellis delivered a well deserved late winner.

Two wins. One club. One massive effort from everyone involved

⚽️ GOALS GALORE IN THE MASTERS ⚽️

Friday night under the lights delivered plenty of drama for the black and green.

Our Division 2 Masters claimed their first 3 points of the season with
Declan McNamara leading the charge with a casual FIVE goals on his Masters debut. 🖐️🥅

In Division 1, the boys put in a spirited and hard-working performance but were ultimately beaten by a classy Doncaster outfit. Plenty of fight, plenty of effort, just not the result on the night.

The Masters comp continues to deliver goals, laughs and Friday night football at its finest. 🌙⚽️
