Championship & Round 5 IRB Open Carnival, the team had 💪6 podium finishes and 2 pennants, finishing 2nd overall in the Opens and 6th in U23s. 👏

Black Rock Life Saving Club is deeply saddened by the passing of past President and Life Member, Terry Peterson OAM. He was a leader, mentor and friend to many at Black Rock Life Saving Club and Royal Life Saving Society Australia (Victoria) which merged in 2002 into Life Saving Victoria. Terry joined the club in 1962 at just 15 years of age, served as Club Captain from 1970–1976, and became President in 1976 — a role he would hold for an incredible 31 years, alongside other positions in Royal Life Saving. In June 1996, after 20 years of service to the club, Terry was honoured with the Order of Australia.
On behalf of the Black Rock Life Saving Community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Terry’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with his daughters Sally and Lucy, and his grandchildren Logan, Frankie and Charlie as they prepare his farewell. Vale, Terry.💙

Good news — we reopen on Friday, April 10 and will be open every Friday in April from 5PM 🍹
