A big thank you to all who attended and took part in the Simon Hawthorne memorial triples yesterday for helping to make it a great success.
We were also lucky enough to be blessed with some nice weather too.

Another awesome pennant result for our grade 6 team today, winning the region flag, defeating Saint Johns in the final. A thoroughly deserved win to top off a great season!.
This will see them heading to the state playoffs along with grade 4. A superb effort from a club that continues to punch above its weight!

Yesterday saw the final round of the regular pennant season completed. Unfortunately grade 7 were defeated away by Moxon Sports, who proved too strong at home. This puts them out of contention for the finals, but they can still be proud of their achievements this year, coming second in their section.
Grade 6 advanced to the finals next weekend with a convincing win over Saints at home, with a dominating performance from Phil Woodley's rink, winning 39-3. Let's hope they can keep it going and bring home a flag next weekend!.

A great weekend for Birrong, with our grade 4 side finishing on top of the ladder and securing the flag with a win against Picnic Point on the carpet at Cabramatta. This will see them heading down to Nowra in August for the state playoffs.
There was an away loss for grade 6 against Padstow and a home win for grade 7 over Mount Lewis.
With one round to go, It is a must win game for grade 7 to keep their position at the top of the section ladder. Fingers crossed we may see another flag or two soon. Go the Bombers!.
