For the 2nd year in a row, our U16 boys have done it!

It was a thrilling 5–3 semi-final victory on Saturday night, securing their place in the Grand Final!

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to the club and supported the team. The crowd and atmosphere were absolutely unreal!

Now, the boys have their sights set on Grand Final glory! We’re putting the call out to our MFC community to come along and get behind the boys as they battle it out for the trophy! 🏆

Saturday 12 September

Come down and support all our Mini Roos teams as they hit the field this Saturday for their last games of the season. Big energy, big smiles, and big community vibes.

⏰ *Times:* See attached schedule for your team’s kick-off

The canteen will be open with your favourite 🍔bacon & egg burgers, 🍟 hot chips and most importantly ☕️ coffee as some of the options.

🅿️ Parking - with the Council development works going on we have lost most carparks in the main car park in the last week. You will need to allow extra time to park on the streets around or use the Frank St carpark aswell as be careful walking around the football fields.

Our Mini Roos take to the field one last time this season, kicking off a huge day at Mooroondu FC. Start your morning right with a bacon & egg roll and a coffee from the canteen and enjoy the football action!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Mooroondu fathers, grandfathers, uncles and father figures!

Mooroondu Football Club is built on community and we see that every week in the men who show up for our club and our players.
To the coaches, managers, volunteers, players, BBQ cooks, canteen helpers, goal-setters and sideline supporters — thank you. Your time, encouragement and commitment make a real difference to the young boys and girls in our club.

You are role models, helpers, mentors and mates, and you play such an important role in making Mooroondu the welcoming community club that it is.

We wish you all the happiest Father’s Day!

SEASON CHANGEOVER AT MOOROONDU

Our football season is coming to an end – thank you to all players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families for making it such a great one!

Now we look ahead to cricket season, Wellington Point Cricket Club which is just around the corner.

A quick heads up – our curators have started wicket preparation on the fields. The wicket block is fenced off and we ask that everyone PLEASE keep out of that area – kids, dogs, birds, worms, and all.

Let’s look after it so our cricketers have the best start to their season.
