KitFit Fitness My name is Kit Freeman, and I am a Personal Trainer who works out of a private gym in Birkdale. I decided to start my own business in August of this year.

I have been a Personal Trainer since 2019 and have worked at commercial gyms such as Vision and Snap Fitness. My Mission is to create an easier pathway towards fitness success, based off my own past experiences. I want to make sure my clients are taught efficient and effective practices so that they are self sufficient in becoming strong, durable and healthy. Strengthening under full stretch!

Throughout all my fitness journey, I have always been very strong. However, I was not able to translate that strength into sports and real life scenarios.

Being strong is healthy, however creating strength while our muscles are in the eccentric part of the movement is very important.

Here we have Aaron completing a single leg Kettlebell RDL on a step. This right here is strengthening the hamstring through full stretch while using a hip extension exercise. By increasing the height of the pivot leg, we are encouraging Aaron to increase his ROM; while still keeping the scapula depressed, chest lifted, and the knee soft (slightly bent).
