After such a fun day at the Mt Pleasant Show, we’ve decided to do it all again!

We heard your feedback loud and clear… so this time we’ll be increasing the number of bacon & egg rolls because we seriously underestimated just how much you all LOVE them.

Same food, same low prices (because cost of living and all that).

The Torrens Valley Soccer Club is looking for volunteers to help man our BBQ food stall at Birdwood Farm Day on Sunday 17 May at the National Motor Museum.

If you can spare a couple of hours to help out, we’d love to hear from you. As a volunteer-run club, fundraising like this helps us keep registration fees affordable for our players and families.

Our Senior Women’s team is still looking for a few more players to join the Ramettes this season.

Whether you’ve played before, haven’t kicked a ball in years, or just want to give something new a try, we’d love to have you involved.

With guest player options and come & try sessions available, there’s no pressure - just a great group of women, some fun, fitness and football.

Training has changed to Thursday nights from 7pm at Birdwood Park, with games on Sundays.

⚽️ Women’s Div 6 North - Match Results

A tough 9 v 11 for our Ramettes again today (with the opposition having five subs!), but this team never backs down 💪

After going behind, we fought back with a great team goal to level things up. The second half brought plenty of pressure, but our defence stood strong and we held firm.

⚽️ Women’s Div 6 North - Match results

Despite heading into the match with just nine players, our Ramettes came out firing - scoring within the first couple of minutes and never looking back.

Strong link-up play from defence to attack and growing confidence across the pitch saw us secure a fantastic 4–0 win. 👏

This Tuesday 24 March is your final chance to Come & Try soccer with the Torrens Valley Rams before registrations close for the 2026 season!

If your child has been thinking about giving soccer a go, we highly recommend coming down and joining in - it’s a great way to try it out in a fun, supportive environment 💙

⚽ Under 7s - 5:00-6:00pm
⚽ Under 8s - 5:00-6:00pm
⚽ Under 10s - 5:30-6:30pm
⚽ Under 11s - 6:00-7:00pm

We also offer a TRAINING ONLY option for just $145 - perfect for building skills and confidence without the weekend games.

📣 Volunteers Needed - Mt Pleasant Show Stall ⚽

We’re looking for a few extra hands to help run the Torrens Valley Rams stall at the Mt Pleasant Show this Saturday (21 March) - especially during the busy lunch rush (11am–2pm).

Our club is 100% volunteer run, and fundraising like this helps us keep registration fees affordable for all families 💙

📣 Junior Teams Update & Training Starts Tomorrow! ⚽

We were hoping to have all junior teams finalised and coaches confirmed for the 2026 season. However, our committee is still working through the process, carefully balancing player ages, numbers and available coaches.

The committee will meet again after the first training session tomorrow and should be able to confirm more details then.

✅ Training will commence tomorrow, March 17.
Please attend the session listed below for your age group:

⚽ Under 7s - 5:00-6:00pm (Coach Ben)
⚽ Under 8s - 5:00-6:00pm (Coach TBC)
⚽ Under 10s - 5:30-6:30pm (Coach Ryan)
⚽ Under 11s - 6:00-7:00pm (Coach Ashley)
⚽ Under 12/13s - 6:00-7:30pm (Coach Sean)

🙏 We’re looking for:
• U13 Coach
• Assistant Coaches
• Team Managers

📅 Important: All teams and player registrations must be finalised by March 27, as this is the league deadline.

Teams will be selected based on age, ability, and any preferences provided during registration (friends, coaches, etc). Teams may still change, and if your child is unhappy with their placement, please let us know - we’re happy to talk through options.

💬 Some committee members will also be available on the night to answer questions.

🍔 Canteen Open: 5:00–7:00pm with hot food and drinks
👕 Uniforms will also be available for purchase.

We've already had one brave parent put their hand up to volunteer 🙋‍♂️ but are still on the lookout for at least one more.

Coaching can be an extremely rewarding way of giving back to the community. All you need to start is a basic knowledge of the game, a Working With Children Check, and the willingness to undertake a coaching course.

⚽️ Volunteer Coaches Needed – U12 & U13 ⚽️

We’re on the lookout for volunteer coaches for our U12 and/or U13 teams this season!

The exciting news is we potentially have enough players for two teams - but without a coach (or two), we unfortunately won’t be able to enter either age.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the perfect time. Coaching is a rewarding way to support our kids, build their confidence, and strengthen our club community. Support and guidance will be provided - you won’t be on your own!

Hi Rams Families! 🐏💙

We’re excited to share a fun community opportunity for our TVSC stars! The Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade and Street Party - South Australia is happening on Saturday, 6th December, and we’d love to have our players join us and march in the parade! ⚽️🎄

Parade Info:
• Arrive: 4:30pm at the Showgrounds
• Parade starts: 5:30pm
• Wear: TVSC tops (we’ll supply these on the day)
• Festive flair: Christmas hats, glasses, and fun accessories encouraged!
• Players will be handing out cookies along the route to help spread some festive cheer ✨

After the parade, families are more than welcome to stick around for the Mt Pleasant Street Party - it's always a fantastic evening! 🎉

Participation is completely optional, but it’s a great chance for our kids to represent the club, have some fun, and get involved with the local community.

If your child would like to join us, please let us know ASAP so we can include them in our planning.
