Fantastic last show of 2024 with Benji (Captivating BHI) going Champion Hunter Hack over 16hh at the last GN Qualifier of the year - Bring on Sydney (GN) in April! Unfortunately we weren’t back in time for Royal or EA but always next year 🥰

It’s been a long road since his injury earlier in the year and I couldn’t be happier. Goes to show patience and not rushing them back, taking time works. Benj is coming back stronger than ever - love our unicorn!

A slow start to the showing year for us, very minimal shows attended so far and unfortunately having to miss the Royal this year due to Benji injuring himself. However he is almost ready to start work again and I have made the most of getting my two young boys out and about with mums guidance from a distance (much nicer when she comes to visit lol!)

Hopefully a few more shows on the radar for the end of the year but grateful for each and every outing these boys are getting at the moment.

Pictured is our homebred Playtime BPH at a show last month. Champion Led Hunter - his first outing in a few years!

I’ve been a bit quiet recently due to an injury, but just letting all that have messaged to get appointments that I will be up and running in February! First stop will be Pt Lincoln. Then possibly Coonalyn across to Meningie. , also a Waikerie run . PM for details on time lines.

We would like to wish our clients and friends a happy and safe New Year!

2022 has been a big year at Brookview and quite successful too!

Captivating BHI was the main man all year, qualifying for Grand Nationals 2023, SC 2023, Nationals 2022, Novice and Open winner at his first Royal Show and then a champion Child’s also with his beautiful child rider Ella Manning. They ended the year with a National title - we are so very proud of both of them. Benji truly is Maddi’s best friend and it’s so nice to have such a pleasurable horse to show!

Washington made his way back out into the ring for some Thoroughcare classes this year, he was fortunate enough to excel in the limited outings he attended. We are very grateful for these classes and believe it is a brilliant initiative.

Playtime BHI unfortunately didn’t get too much work put into him this year due to injury at the start of the year. However we are looking forward to what 2023 has to offer and hopefully get him out to some dressage too!

Belclaren Broadway owned by Angela Maher really stepped up as the year progressed through his Newcomer Season. Ending the season on a high at SHC HOTY with more prizes than room to come home! We are thrilled with how he is progressing and the horse he is maturing into.
