Congratulations to Lachy Foott, who will play his 250th open-age football game for Birchip-Watchem this Saturday!
A Birchip-Watchem junior who seamlessly progressed through to senior football, Lachy has been a huge contributor to the club over many years – as a senior premiership player, former senior coach and current committee member.
His football journey has also included successful stints with Swan Hill and Beulah, but it’s fantastic to see him reach this significant milestone in the purple, green and white.
Reaching 250 open-age games is a testament to Lachy’s durability, dedication and commitment to his fitness. He remains one of the most consistent trainers at the club and, whether it’s training night or game day, you can always count on Lachy being one of the loudest voices on the field, encouraging and driving his teammates.
A terrific milestone for someone who has given plenty to the club over a long period of time.
Congratulations, Lachy – hopefully there are plenty more seasons and games to come!
