We’re sad to announce that our 2022 That Dam Run event will be our last.

There has been much thought and deliberation that has gone into making this decision.

Inevitably, our event could not be successful without the large government grants we’ve received to cover the majority of the expenses involved with putting on the event. Applying for and staying up to date with grants is a time consuming process on top of planning and executing our event. Our organisers are also moving on, as they will no longer have Kindy aged children (or for some, haven’t had kids in Kindy for a few years).

We would like to sincerely thank all participants, spectators, vendors, sponsors, donors, along with our organisers and volunteers, that have been involved with our event over the years. We’ve had a ball putting on this event for our community which has been an impressive & unique fundraiser for our kindergarten, Biloela Kindy.

We have a bunch of merchandise left over which we are selling for $5 each! Sizes are limited so message us today to secure some items. We have available shirts for kids, women & men along with caps & buffs (shirts are a small make, people have generally sized up 1-2 sizes - refer to our size chart for more info).

Please reference the sizing chart before purchasing as these shirts are a small make. We have found you need to size up 1-2 sizes to what you usually wear. Due to these being massively marked down, there will be no returns available once purchased.

Postage is available for a flat rate of $10 otherwise items can be collected from Biloela Kindy at 95 Kariboe Street from Tuesday 4th October. Available collection times will be:
Monday & Tuesday – between 3.30pm & 4.30pm
Wednesday & Thursday – between 3pm & 4pm

Payment via cash or direct deposit available. Please ensure you come with the correct money as we won’t have change available.

That Dam Run would not have been possible without the support of the Queensland Government. We applied for and were successful in receiving a grant under the Community Drought Support program. We utilised this funding to provide:
- community events or activities, in drought-affected local government areas, that increase community participation and improve access to support and social connectedness

Registration tent is open!

Remember your race kits must be collected before your race brieifing - so drop out early to collect these or collect before the following race briefing times:
• 2:45pm for the 21.1km event
• 3:00pm for the 10km event
• 4:30pm for the 5km & 2km events
• 5:30pm for all relay events

PARKING REMINDER
All competitors and spectators must park in the grounds of Lake Callide Retreat. There will be no access to the dam wall or parks, as the access road will be closed. Lake Callide Retreat have generously offered part of their campground as the parking area for That Dam Run.
Entry will be via the entrance closest to Lake Callide reception (will be signed). Please make your way over to the far side, to the fence that borders the dam wall and park nose in. Be respectful of caravans/campers utilising the camp ground and leave some distance between their camp setup and your vehicle.
There is a gap in the fence leading onto a red dirt road that will take you right near the start line.
