Join us on Saturday, 27 June for a fun family evening as we screen How to Train Your Dragon (2025 Live Action) on the big screen.

🗓️ School Holiday Learn to Swim Break 🗓️

Our Learn to Swim program at Biloela Aquatic Centre will be taking a short break over the school holidays from 29 June to 13 July (inclusive).

✅ No direct debit payments will be deducted during this period.

✅ Squad swimming sessions will continue as per normal throughout the holidays.

✅ General public swimming access will also continue as per our usual operating timetable.

Learn to Swim lessons will resume from Monday 14 July, and we look forward to welcoming all of our swimmers back for another great winter term in the pool ❄️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums, grandmothers, carers, step mums, aunties, foster mums and mother figures in our Splash community.

Thank you for the early mornings, poolside cheers, warm towels, endless snacks, and the love and support you pour into your little swimmers every single week.

From first splashes to confident strokes, we know these moments are made possible because of you.

Today we celebrate all the women helping raise strong, safe and happy kids .. in and out of the water.

🔥 Winter Learn to Swim 🔥

For the first time ever, Biloela Aquatic Centre will be open right through winter and Learn to Swim is coming with it.

Enrolments are now open, with limited availability across our program, spots are filling quickly.

We’re also taking Expressions of Interest for our lower levels on Sunday afternoons. If there’s enough demand, we’ll run:

🙋‍♀️ Starfish
🙋‍♀️ Rainbow Fish

…throughout winter, making the most of those warmer Sunday afternoons.

WE’RE OPEN THIS WINTER 🔥💦

For the first time ever, we’re keeping the doors open right through winter and we couldn’t be more excited to bring year round swimming to the community!

A huge thank you to Banana Shire Council for supporting this initiative and helping make it happen 👏

What this means for you 👇
✔️ Squad training continues
✔️ Learn to Swim continues (with levels reopening as temps improve)
✔️ Public access is available across the week
✔️ Consistency for swimmers of all ages, because progress doesn’t stop in winter

We’re also introducing over winter SwimFIT, our new water based group fitness class for all abilities 💪
(Stay tuned for session times .. we want your input!)

And if there’s enough interest, we’ll look to open Sunday afternoon lessons for our younger levels when the weather is at its warmest ☀️

This is a big step forward for our facility and our community and we’re just getting started.
