Had a powerlifting comp on the weekend - one of my other sports 😁

There are many benefits to cross training. If it's powerlifting, extra strength, muscle and control are a few obvious ones. You can hit harder, take the hits better and have better control over your movements - all things that increase your performance and reduce risk of injury 🙌🙌
