🌼 Happy first day of Spring. 🌼

I’ve held onto these photos taken by my beautiful, clever late Mother.

She was my biggest cheerleader. She helped me with my photoshoots, made me feel comfortable in front of the lens and did everything I asked of her during our shoots.

For these photos, however, I softened and let her have complete creative control, just like when I was a little girl. Back then, she would take rolls of film and develop them in our laundry, which she had converted into a dark room.

Forever grateful for her, her creativity and the beautiful memories she left behind.

Foot health is so important.

Think about how many millions of steps we take over a lifetime. When something isn’t right with our feet, it can affect so much more than just our ability to walk. It can impact our balance, confidence and mental wellbeing, especially when we can’t do the things we enjoy, like walking.

Having recently injured my own foot, I truly empathise with the many students I’ve crossed paths with over the years who have had issues with their feet.

There are simple things we can do to maintain good foot health. Balancing, rolling, massaging, soaking, wearing the right shoes for different activities and, as the weather warms up, spending some time barefoot.

Feeling the earth beneath your feet, connecting with nature and allowing your feet to move freely can be a simple way to reconnect with your body.

Let’s take care of our feet so we can keep walking those millions of steps with grace, strength and confidence.

Preparation for our 🦋 Eclosion 🦋 event.

Playing with some new sound toys, sequencing, finalising menus and talk topics.

So much goes into these events. Hours and hours of preparation, administration and creative energy. But we love it so much.

Creating these events and sharing them with our beautiful yoga communities makes all the work behind the scenes so worthwhile.

Last weekend Sinead and I hosted 40 women over two days for her Wellness Days.

It’s always a brilliant day that Sinead puts together, sharing her wisdom and guidance. She is always mixing it up, this year we had her naturopath provide information about hormones.

I love collaborating with her and bringing together mindful movement, meditation, pranayama and sound.

The next one will most probably be in Summer, but reach out if it’s something you’re interested in joining.
