The Combined Clubs Weekend (CCW) provides an opportunity for divers from all around Tasmania (and even from the mainland) to come together for a weekend full of diving adventures. The event attracts more than 150 divers from over 8 clubs resulting in all levels of experience and passions being catered for. Base

d at the iconic east coast town of Bicheno, the adjacent Governor Island marine reserve provides some of the best diving in Australia. Granite boulders and ledges provide habitat for kelp in the shallows and spectacular sponge gardens, zooanthids and other invertebrates at depth. Additional to the abundant dive sites, the weekend is full of social events, an underwater photography shootout, gear and industry displays, great prizes and competitions. The event is based at the Bicheno Town Hall (just 100m from the nearest dive site) and each evening allows divers to interact and socialise over a meal and beverage. A variety of presentations are given on diving expeditions, gear and equipment, as well as on science and conservation issues. Stunning photographic presentations and and comp also fill in the evenings.

Congratulations to Eaglehawk Dive Centre! We've heard about this program at the last two combined dive clubs, and its great to see the program getting the recognition it deserves.
