This episode belongs to Kirsty Chew and Sam Geddes. 🫢🏼

Kirsty is our official head of good vibes. She came through our women's program in the C team and put in the work with coach Thali, training day in and day out. That effort carried her into a higher grade, and she brought a trophy home to the club. She is a genuinely great human being and she has added something real to a women's program that has dominated at elite level for years.

Sam is a friend and a brilliant coach. She understands the game and she understands club dynamics better than almost anyone we know. Having her at South Perth Alliance is an honour. She brings years of experience and she brings a great energy, on the court and off it.

This season our B grade went all the way and won their competition. That result sits at the heart of what this program is built on. Every grade gets the same standard of coaching, the same level of care, and the same shot at a premiership. Skill level never determines how well a player is looked after at this club.

Kirsty and Sam are exactly who South Perth Alliance set out to be. A tight-knit community of great people, open to anyone, at any level, growing together in a safe and friendly environment.

This one doesn't need an introduction

Zoee Spadano is back.

Before Italy came calling, Zoee was instrumental in three of our minor premiership and championship wins here in Western Australia, so she knows exactly what this club is about.

After making the leap from South Perth to Italy's Serie A, she spent her time overseas competing at the highest level of women's futsal in the world, first with Kick Off C5 Milan and most recently with Montesilvano, where she finished as the club's top goal scorer last season with 13 goals. Along the way she was also named the best under 21 player in Italy and featured in an Italian Cup grand final.

She's also worn the green and gold, representing the official Australian Futsal National Team in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in Uzbekistan and at the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup in China.

One of the most talented players in the country returns to South Perth Alliance, and we couldn't be prouder to welcome her back for the Football West F-League season.

Stay tuned for more πŸ‘€

Three more names locked in for the Football West F-League season.

Kaytlin Bellanca
A brilliant new addition to the group. Young but already experienced, Kaytlin brings genuine quality along with the athleticism and workrate that this team is built on. Welcome to the family, Kaytlin.

Lauren Continibali
Three seasons in and our flanker still hasn't stopped running. Relentless energy, dangerous 1v1 dribbling and real attacking power down the wing. Back for more.

Xuri Dalton
One of the most talented young prospects in WA. Xuri joined us last season and brings flair, passing vision and energy every time she steps on court. We can't wait to watch her take the next step this season.

Workrate, wings and wonderkids. More to come. πŸ‘€

Signing announcement round two.

Three more locked in for the Football West F-League season, and this trio needs no introduction.

Ischia Brooking
A State Futsal League champion with us in 2022 at just 14 years old, before making history at Western Sydney Wanderers as the youngest player ever to feature in an A-League Women match at the time. A Junior Matildas representative who brings quality, skill and athleticism in equal measure. Welcome home, Ischia.

Bea Wan
A pillar of our women's programme and one of the most respected defenders in the WA scene. Eight consecutive minor premierships and four championships in the last seven years tell you everything about her standards.

JΓΊlia Hein Mazutti
Heart, soul and everything else, every game and every training session. Julia has been instrumental in all of our recent wins since joining us, including our first F-League title in 2024.

The squad is taking shape. More to come. πŸ‘€

Our first signings for the upcoming Football West F-League season are locked in, and we couldn't have asked for a better trio to start with.

Kim McCartney
Epril Nossent
Gabby Dal Busco

All three were instrumental in bringing home our first F-League title in 2024 and have since become fundamental to everything this squad is about. Kim and Epril have led the team from the front with goals and assists, while Gabby has been the last line keeping us in games when it mattered most.

Some people hold a club together. These two are ours.

Beau Haynes has been a pillar of this team since South Perth FC merged with Alliance and became the club we are today. Incredible work ethic, serious futsal ability, and a creative brain that most people in the game know without realising it, because Beau is the one who created Futsal Face Off, the card game that ended up everywhere.

Justin Pearce has been with us since 2019 and has not moved since. He wears the captain's armband, represents South Perth Alliance with pride, and anyone in WA futsal will know the name. More than any of that, Justin is a person of values. If you wanted to explain what this club believes in, you would not need a document. You would point at him. He is also fluent in Japanese, and that has mattered more than most people realise as a part of how our Japanese community has been welcomed in this club also comes down to Justin being able to talk with people in their own language when they first arrive to Australia.

Two very different people. The same standards, the same commitment, and the same club.

04/09/2026

One of them has been here since 2020. The other only arrived recently. Both are pillars of this club, and both are two of our closest mates.

Daniel Muzzarelli needs no introduction to anyone in WA futsal. Muzza has been part of South Perth Alliance since 2020 and has been a constant through everything the club has done since.

Milan Rosic is a newer name on the team sheet, but not in the club. Since joining, Milan has done a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes, the kind that nobody sees on match night and everybody benefits from. In a short time he has become someone South Perth Alliance leans on.

What connects the us runs deeper than the badge. Some of us came through Fremantle Futsal Club, the same place that shaped how this club thinks about the game, about standards, and about looking after your people. Somewhere along the way we became amazing friends off the pitch and collected an insane amount of memories together.

Which is why sitting them down for this interview meant more than we expected. We have known these two for years and still found ourselves hearing their stories properly for the first time. Where they came from, why they ended up here, what South Perth Alliance means to them now. Hearing it in their own words is inspiring, and we think it will be for you too.

South Perth Alliance completed the registration process to enter the Football West F-League with both a senior men's team and a senior women's team

Our women go into the competition as reigning champions from the last F-League edition in 2024.

Our men have been building towards a higher level of Futsal this winter, and this season gives that group the platform to show exactly what it has become.

Preseason work starts soon, keep an eye out for squad news and fixtures over the coming weeks.

If our club had a face, it would be Filip's.

Fil has been with us for nine years through the lowest of the lows and the highest of the highs, and no matter who came calling, he never left. In that time he's become the true soul of SPA and the living embodiment of everything we stand for.

This club has given him lifelong friends, and it's also where he met his wife. A Croatian at the heart of what we do, and someone we'll always be grateful to. πŸ‡πŸ‡·
