ISWA - Ice Synchro Western Australia Ice Synchro WA encourages fun, team spirit and personal growth in the sport of synchronised skating.

We believe that participating in sport is a healthy part of physical and mental life. Success is not just measured by medals or awards (although these are important), but by the growth of each individual within our teams. We welcome any skaters considering joining the ISWA teams from learn to skate programs, from other skating disciplines, or from interstate or internationally. (Maybe you are here

to study or on work experience - feel free to get in touch ... we can assist with visa sponsorships).

We represent WA at the Australian Figure Skating Championships and there are opportunities to compete internationally. We have teams at all levels to provide a pathway from beginners to international competitors.

We skate at Cockburn Ice Arena and at Xtreme Ice Arena. The club is incorporated and run by a management committee of volunteers.

Ice Synchro WA Team Selection for Season 2026

Synchro offers the opportunity to compete at a state, national and international level, while skating alongside teammates who share the same passion.

ISWA will be fielding teams for skaters of all ages and abilities in 2026 and we are looking forward to the Australian Figure skating Championships which are being held in Perth in November at our home rink.

We invite skaters from all levels to come and try skating with our teams, and we would love to welcome you to our club.

Please arrive 30 minutes before on ice times to register, warm up and get your skates on.

What to wear: For our new skaters – neat and fitted clothing that is comfortable to skate in and preferably all black.

For our returning skaters – ISWA club training outfit.

4 of our Infusion Junior skaters and coach Molly are heading to Thailand with other teams from around Australia and the world to attend the ISU Junior Synchronised Skating Camp in Bangkok ⛸️

With four intensive days of on ice and off ice training with world class coaches it will be a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills 🤩

We wish them all the best on this amazing adventure!

As part of the tryout process, you will skate 3 consecutive weeks doing skills and teamwork. During this time, you will be assessed by the coaches, who will determine which team you will be most suited for. As the tryouts continue, you may be asked to attend a different training session time/day.
