𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 – 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽-𝗨𝗽

Saturday night saw the return of the East vs West rivalry, with plenty of netball, laughs, and a few beers consumed in the name of charity. The on-court battle didn't quite go West's way, with East Beverley claiming the netball win. They'll no doubt be reminding everyone of that result for a while!

However, West Beverley came ready to compete across all fronts. They took out the mini games and put in a strong performance at the bar, where every drink purchased in team colours counted towards the overall result. 🍻When all the points were added up, West walked away as overall champions!

Our commentators Pricey (East) and Coopes (West), provided us with some great entertainment throughout the night with their expert analysis and stats! A big thanks must also go to our captains Sam (East), Coopes (West), our coaches Sarah (East) and Rel (West) and umps Kristy (East) and Megs (West)!

While the rivalry is always a lot of fun, the night was about something much bigger. We came together to raise funds for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation in support of our special friend, valued community member, and club treasurer, Sarah Aynsley.
We raised an incredible $𝟲,𝟬𝟱𝟯!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, played, volunteered, bought raffle tickets, bought drinks, and got behind the cause. Every contribution helped make the night such a success. How special is the Beverley community!🙌

A massive thank you to the social committee for putting the whole event together. Events like this don't happen without a lot of work behind the scenes, so thank you!

It can now be settled that West is well and truly best. 🏆💙

On Saturday, we had our first hit out against Cunderdin for the season.

Well done to our netball girls bringing home the chocolates again with a massive win! Unlucky to our footy boys, but keep your heads up we will get there! Thank you to all our supporters who came out and cheered on our teams. 👏🏼

We are back and ready to take on Cunderdin Football Club at home this Saturday! The forecast is looking great, seeding is wrapping up and it has rained - so there's no excuse not to come down to the oval and courts to support our Redbacks!

Make a day of it at the club and stick around afterwards for our East vs West Mixed Netball Fundraiser from 5pm. There'll be raffles, a special auction, dinner available, and plenty of entertainment as East and West battle it out for bragging rights.

EAST V WEST FUNDRAISER EVENT

This weekend it’s our east v west mixed netball fundraiser! We have got plenty on offer for everyone (on and off the court) to get involved with!

- Raffles
- Special auction item after the game
- Mini games at half time (open to anyone!)
- Every drink bought at the bar by anyone wearing red or blue goes towards the final score!

Don’t forget to bring your coins, notes or card and dig deep for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation! 💵

Beverley Redbacks Hockey Club are cooking up a storm for us as well. Pulled pork and coleslaw burgers and a sausage sizzle for the kids, will be available to purchase throughout the game!

This weekend is a bye for all clubs, as country week netball is being held in Perth.

A huge congratulations to Bek Aynsley and Sarah Walters who are representing the Redbacks in the Avon side 👏 Make sure you get to Perth and support the girls!
