Cooba Sport & Education Centre is seeking a Full-time, year round enthusiastic person to join our team. We are a school based camp in Berridale NSW, that offers a range of Outdoor Pursuit activities and pride ourselves on great customer service.
The successful applicant will need to be someone who can work as part of a team, is energetic, punctual, and have an interest in working outdoors.
General duties –
• Instruct groups of up to 20 students on various Cooba activities (on site and off site) potentially 3 x 2-hour sessions per day.
• Maintaining and monitoring outdoor pursuit activities and equipment
• Completing daily safety checks on activities
• Engaging with teachers as well as students
• Maintaining a safe and professional environment for guests and colleagues
• Assist in mealtime duties on a rostered system
Qualifications -
First Aid and WWC are essential. Outdoor Recreation qualifications are not essential but are desirable.
Benefits -
10 weeks paid leave over the school holidays (winter holidays excluded) as time in lieu for the extra hours worked on mealtime duties.
