The Riverland Hockey Association is made up of 4 towns throughout the Riverland region - Renmark Hockey Club, Loxton Hockey Club, Waikerie Hockey Club & Berri Hockey Club (with a synthetic turf at its Glassey Park comple
x). The association has been very successful at a higher level, with numerous Riverland teams representing the region and coming home with Gold throughout the years. We also have great representation at State and Australian level. With juniors and seniors all performing well, we also have numerous current/previous players in AIS & SASI. Some of the association's highest achievers include Loxton Hockey Club's Olympic Gold, Commonwealth Gold, and 2003 World Hockey Young Player of the Year - Grant Schubert (OAM). Currently, two former Riverland players are representing Australia as members of the Hockeyroos squad - Karri McMahon & Georgie Parker, both from Berri. The Riverland currently has a boys and girls Development Athlete Program made up of all the young elite stars throughout the Riverland who are receiving extra training to help them reach their full potential. At the end of the 2020 Season RHA was awarded Best Regional Association from Hockey SA. Well done to every club for making this association exceptional.
