💗 The Future of Our Game

They may be young now, but they are the future of our game.

Every week, these junior Wallabies pull on the maroon and white with pride, building confidence, friendships and skills that will stay with them long after the final whistle.

Women in League Round is about celebrating every girl who plays, every teammate who encourages, every coach who inspires and every volunteer who helps create opportunities for girls to thrive.

We're proud to see so many young girls choosing rugby league and league tag, learning resilience, teamwork and leadership while having fun and making memories.

The future of the Wallabies is bright ❤️🤍

🏉💗 ROUND 9 | WOMEN IN LEAGUE ROUND 💗🏉

This weekend we celebrate the incredible women and girls who make our game stronger: our players, coaches, trainers, managers, volunteers, committee members, referees and supporters.

It's another full Saturday of footy at Warrina Street Oval, with Wallabies teams in action throughout the day. Make sure you come down, support the players and enjoy a great day of local rugby league.

The action wraps up with a local A Grade derby as the Berowra Wallabies take on the Asquith Magpies — always a contest you won't want to miss!

Sunday is also a special day, with our U7 Tackle Ready Program wrapping up with a Gala Day at North Sydney Oval. We can't wait to see our young players take the field and showcase the skills they've developed throughout the program.

Adding to the excitement, our U10 Girls League Tag team will also be hitting the turf at North Sydney Oval as part of the Women in League Round celebrations.

Good luck to all Wallabies teams taking the field this weekend!

Female Faces of the Wallabies – Our Committee 💜

This Women in League Round, we're proud to recognise the incredible women on our committee who are helping shape the future of the Berowra Wallabies.

Our female committee members bring passion, leadership, creativity and countless volunteer hours to ensure our players, families and teams have the best possible experience. They advocate for our players, support our coaches and managers, help grow opportunities for girls and women in rugby league, and work hard to keep our club thriving.

Their contribution often happens away from the spotlight, but their impact is felt across every corner of our club.

Thank you for your commitment, your leadership and everything you do for the maroon and white.

Strong women. Strong club. Strong future.

Vale Jim Watson

The Berowra Wallabies lost one of our founding members last Thursday 11/6/26. Jim Watson was involved at the start of the Wallabies and become our 5th Life Member in 1976.

Jim was a member of our inaugural A Grade side in 1969 and played up until the mid '70s. Jim continued his involvement with the Wallabies by coaching numerous teams through the '80s and into the early '90s with help from John Skinner and Henry Zsuba.

Jim was also heavily involved managing his son’s Rick (also a Life member) teams and was very proud to see Rick come up through the grade and eventually Captain the Wallabies A Grade side. Jim’s efforts in the early year help build the strong sense of community we have here at the Wallabies. It's a proud tribute to the work of Jim and, other early members, that our club is where it is today as a pillar of our community.

There will be a celebration for Jim at the Berowra Wallabies Clubhouse (Andy Paterson Pavillion). Details will be announced shortly.

🍪Baking a Difference

What an incredible effort from some of our Mini Wallabies today! ❤️

These young legends spent the morning selling homemade treats and lemonade to raise money for Wideview Public School's Colour Run—and thanks to the amazing support of our community, they raised an incredible $528! 🎉

We were also proud to contribute, with the Berowra Wallabies donating $100 to help them reach their goal.

All funds raised will go towards teaching and learning resources, as well as upgrades to the school's outdoor play spaces, creating lasting benefits for students for years to come.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, bought a cookie, grabbed a lemonade, or made a donation. This is what community is all about—kids supporting their school, team mates supporting team mates and the Wallabies family getting behind a great cause.

We couldn't be prouder of these young fundraisers. Well done, everyone! 🙌

FOOTY IS BACK! 🏉

After two weekends without footy thanks to rain and the King's Birthday long weekend, we're excited to finally be back on the field this weekend!

Our Wallabies will be taking on teams from across Sydney, with plenty of maroon and white action to cheer on.

📍 Please note: We have no home games on Saturday, with all teams on the road at venues including Greenway Park, Tantallon Oval, Willoughby Park, Memorial Park, Harbord Park, Hitchcock Park and Beverley Job Park.

🏠 Home footy returns on Sunday at Warrina Street Oval with a kick off at 8.45am

Whether you're travelling to support one of our away teams or heading down to Warrina Street on Sunday, get behind our players and make some noise.

Good luck to all our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters.🦘

No Oval? No Problem 🌧

Keen to continue the momentum they’ve built early in the season, the U16 weren’t going to let wet weather and closed ovals get in their way. The team used this opportunity to train at Moving Bodies and it was a fantastic session. The soft play gym provided a great environment to continue developing and refining our defensive techniques.

A huge thank you to Bodies for their ongoing support and for giving our teams the opportunity to continue training when conditions prevent us from getting on the field.
