Top 3 tips for a working dad to get workouts in, from working mum and PT who wishes more dads would take the time.

1. Lower the standard, raise the consistency.
Stop waiting for the perfect 60-minute session. 20 minutes done consistently beats one “when I get time” session that never happens.

2. Train around the chaos, not against it.
Early before the house wakes up, or straight after work before you walk in the door. Once you’re home and in dad mode, it’s game on.

3. Have a default plan.
No thinking. No programming.
Example:
• 5 min warm up
• 3 compound lifts
• 10 min finisher
In and out. Too many options kills consistency.

It’s just about getting in, prioritising yourself for just a little bit each day to be a better dad and husband.
