I regret to inform you that OUR LAST DAY IS WEDNESDAY, 2 DECEMBER 2020.

I have had to make this difficult decision as I had no applications for the coach position, we have less gymnasts and smaller classes, two of our venues have already closed and COVID has increased our workload and affected class numbers. With increased affiliation costs, I need to consider viability.

Thank you to all our coaches, past and present, but especially Liz who has been here for almost every class for 10 years.

I am very appreciative of everyone who has assisted and supported Bermagui Gymnastics over the last 12 years, especially all the families who send their children to get fit, have fun and learn new skills.

I am extremely proud of all the gymnasts’ achievements over the years and for creating a ‘gymnastics family’ in Bermagui. I sincerely thank you for your continued support.

GYMNASTICS COACH POSITION AVAILABLE

Bermagui Gymnastics is looking for an energetic person, who is great with children, to join our team.

We need an experienced gymnastics and/or trampoline coach who must be willing to obtain, or already be qualified and affiliated with Gymnastics Australia. The successful applicant will need a current Working with Children check.

The position is for Mondays 3-6pm, Tuesdays 3-6.30pm and Wednesdays 3-5.30pm during the school terms.

Starting date negotiable.

In the best interest and well being of our gymnasts, coaches and our families, we have made the difficult decision to delay restarting classes at Bermagui Gymnastics.

Before we start, we need to arrange additional staff and provide ‘COVID Safe’ training to our coaches.

We intend to resume for Term 4, however we will reassess a little closer.

Our biggest focus is on keeping our staff, gymnasts and community safe.

We are very excited about returning to gymnastics! Even though restrictions are lifted, we will endeavour to reopen Bermagui Gymnastics on 10 August (restrictions permitting). Currently we are unable to rent the School hall and we are unsure when this will change. Also I will be away for the first 3 weeks of term 3 as my daughter is having a baby.
To secure a spot in a class, you need to let me know if your child intends to return as classes are currently limited to 10. SMS or email [email protected]
I will confirm our start date as soon as possible. We are all missing gymnastics and look forward to starting again soon. Ros 🤸‍♀️
