Spring brings many changes to the stable environment.
More pollen in the air.
More dust as the weather becomes drier.
More time outside as horses return to paddocks and pastures.
All of this means that horses are suddenly exposed to a higher number of environmental particles. Because of that, many horses seem more sensitive during this time of year.
That’s why spring is a good moment to pay attention to a few key factors in the stable:
• good stable ventilation
• clean forage and feeding routines
• regular movement and fresh air

Small adjustments in stable management can make a noticeable difference during the spring season.

In this video, we explain how StableGraze works.
We think it’s a really brilliant solution –
especially for overnight feeding and early morning portions.

Watered hay – an underestimated risk? 🌾💧
When hay is watered, fine dust particles are moistened,
which can reduce airborne dust – an approach many people are familiar with in everyday stable life.

👉 What is often overlooked:
Watering hay does not involve high temperatures.
As a result, mould spores and bacteria are not deactivated.
In fact, moisture can even promote microbial growth.

Studies show that even short periods of watering can increase bacterial levels by up to 150%.

In addition, watering hay can leach water-soluble nutrients,
and the hay should be fed as quickly as possible, as it only retains its hygienic quality for a short time.

👉 Conclusion:
Watering may bind dust,
but it is not a solution for hygiene, nutrient preservation or long-term forage quality.

Spikes or 360° – which Haygain system is right for you? 💚🐴
It’s actually quite simple:
➡️ Using tightly pressed HD hay bales?
Then the Spikes System is the right choice for you.
With this system, steam is released from the inside out through the bale.
➡️ Steaming loose hay?
In that case, the 360° System is ideal.
Here, steam is distributed from the outside in, ensuring even coverage.
Both systems follow the same goal –
but they are designed for different types of hay.
So it’s not about which system is “better” or “worse,”
but about the type of hay you are feeding.
If you’re unsure which system suits your stable,
feel free to get in touch – we’re happy to help 💚

Your feedback means a lot to us — that’s why we’re always working on improving our products.

The timer was the first step to make your daily routine easier.
And now, here comes the next small but super useful upgrade:

👉 An extra switch that lets you turn the timer on and off.
This also means you can now connect external timers.

More flexibility, more options — whatever fits your routine best.
We never stop improving.
We listen. We evolve. We keep going. 💚

Our new StableGraze is here! 💚
StableGraze is an automatic hay portioner that provides your horse with regular, small portions of hay while you’re away.
This helps you easily avoid long gaps without forage – for example overnight.
⏱️ You can choose whether a portion drops every 2, 3, 4, or 5 hours.
Perfect for creating a more consistent feeding routine in the stable.
And honestly…
How nice is it when your horse gets the first portion of hay in the morning while you’re still asleep? 💚🐴✨

Our Haygain Forager is designed to support a slow, natural and low-dust way of eating hay.
It regulates the feeding speed, reduces hay waste, and encourages a natural head and neck position while eating. This helps your horse stay calm and engaged, while the digestive system can work in its natural rhythm.

💚 Key benefits:
• Extends feeding time
• Promotes relaxed, steady eating
• Saves hay and keeps the feeding area clean

The Forager is durable, safe and easy to clean – the ideal choice for a horse-friendly feeding routine.

💨 Respiratory issues in horses?
The solution often isn’t a single product – it’s the right management.
Healthy airways start with everyday care – built on three key pillars:
🏡 Environment & Stable Conditions
🥕 Feeding
🌬️ Management & Monitoring
Even small adjustments in stable climate, feed hygiene, or daily routines can make a real difference.
💚 Our tip:
Pay special attention to dust levels – in both bedding and hay.
Steamed hay is an important part of responsible respiratory management.
And most importantly:
👉 Always consult your veterinarian if your horse shows any signs of respiratory discomfort.
