Spring brings many changes to the stable environment.
More pollen in the air.
More dust as the weather becomes drier.
More time outside as horses return to paddocks and pastures.
All of this means that horses are suddenly exposed to a higher number of environmental particles. Because of that, many horses seem more sensitive during this time of year.
That’s why spring is a good moment to pay attention to a few key factors in the stable:
• good stable ventilation
• clean forage and feeding routines
• regular movement and fresh air
Small adjustments in stable management can make a noticeable difference during the spring season.
